Coach Richardson graduated from Purdue University (2004) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ancient History, Secondary Education Licensure from Purdue (2006) in Economics, History and Government. Currently, working on his Master’s in Special Education.

Coach Richardson and his wife Wendy have four children, three boys (Max 30, Dylan 27, and Owen 20) all graduated from Chesterton High School and one daughter Delaynee (22) who resides in Washington state. Owen (2024 Grad) currently plays football at University of St. Francis, Indiana.
